Our vision

Pelican Productions envisions a vibrant future where young people in South Australia thrive through the transformative power of live theatre. Founded in 2004 by Directors Jen Frith and Kylie Green, we create innovative and entertaining theatrical experiences that inspire, educate and elevate young performers.

We aim to be a beacon of creativity and excellence in youth theatre — professional training and invaluable performance opportunities that equip performers with skills in singing, dancing and acting, and with teamwork, respect, confidence, empathy and resilience.

Our teaching artists and creative teams are industry professionals who foster a supportive, inclusive environment. We strive to instil a love for the performing arts and a sense of belonging in every participant, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status, national origin, sexual orientation, ability or faith.

Fun first

Central to our vision is the belief that theatre should be fun and enriching — a safe, welcoming space where young performers from across South Australia grow artistically, socially and personally.

Everyone belongs

A diverse community where every young person has the chance to discover their potential, express themselves creatively and build lasting friendships.

Excellence, always

Committed to pushing boundaries, nurturing talent and shaping the next generation of performing artists — with productions that have won and been nominated for multiple awards.
